Views are data sources created by mixing two other datasets. Nexosis API users can now use views to create a session based on a dataset of observations mixed with a different dataset that contains features.
An API View creates a dataset based on a definition which mixes data from other datasets. The key point is that if you have a Dataset which represents some observations and want to use another for features which you don't want to mix directly - allow Views to do it for you. In order to define a View you need to give the View a name and then provide the names of two Datasets.
This new API Views feature benefits developers in three major ways:
- It saves them time
- It's a data stream saver
- It's convenient
