Meet Evan Huddleson, our new Sales Executive. He worked in SaaS sales in San Francisco before joining us.
What's your guilty pleasure?
Definitely video games. I've played since I was a kid starting off on Super Nintendo. I really love role-playing video games, first person shooters can be fun, but I usually just play those for the story. I love role-playing video games because of the complexity and ability to scale skills and items, I get really, really into it.
If given the chance, who would you be for a day and why?
Either Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert. Those two guys are probably the best combination of funny/smart/good hearted I've ever experienced in a person. To be either of them, to see how they view the world and what's going on in their heads would be a trip.
What's one thing on your bucket list?
Oh the Bucket List. One day I'd like to learn how to ride a motorcycle. My mother and girlfriend are vehemently opposed to it, and for good reason, but I can't deny the allure of soaring down the highway on 500 lbs of steel at 120 MPH.
What are you excited about at Nexosis?
I'm excited about the opportunity we have here to make a difference on a societal and personal level. I believe that we are truly heading in a direction of automation and decentralization, and this will affect every industry.
I believe that we are truly heading in a direction of automation and decentralization, and this will affect every industry.
By incorporating machine learning into supply chain and inventory forecasting, we have the opportunity of a lifetime to make typically tedious and worrisome jobs simpler and more automated while reducing waste of human resources, monetary resources, and natural resources on a global scale.
Check out past spotlights in the Nexosis blog to meet the rest of the team. We leverage cutting edge ML, but beneath it all we are our people.
